What is Bikers are Welcome?

Bikers are Welcome is an online booking platform where bikers can search and book biker friendly accommodation with ease.

Bikers are Welcome has been running since 2013 with the main aim of connecting  bikers with great biker friendly accommodation for those all important biker trips!

We understand that touring on your “Pride and Joy” requires a warm flexible biker friendly welcome for rider, pillion and motorcycle. That’s why we only advertise the best biker friendly accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets

How does it work?

Bikers can search biker friendly accommodation on our website which will bring up accommodation listings provided by hosts in the relevant areas. Bikers can then request to book with the host. Hosts can then either accept or decline the request. Once accepted bikers will have 48 hours to make payment to confirm the booking.

What type of accommodation is on the website?

We have a variety of different accommodation options on our website including guest houses, B&B’s, hotels, cottages, glamping pods. All biker friendly

How long does the booking process take?

Once a request for booking has been made, the host can then accept your request. Once accepted the customer would have 48 hours to make payment

What methods of payment accepted?

All payments on Bikers Are Welcome are processed by either PayPal or Stripe, you can be assured our system is 100% safe and secure with their industry leading fraud protection. All major debit and credit cards are accepted.

 

Booking Questions

How do I know if my booking has been accepted?

You will receive emails throughout the booking process letting you know what you need to do next including if you booking has been accepted. You will also receive an email once the booking has been paid for and confirmed.

How do I make payment for the booking?

Once your request has been accepted you will receive an email requesting payment. Follow the link on this email and this will take you to the secure payment page on the dashboard.

How can I see my bookings?

All bookings can be viewed and managed in the dashboard

How do I cancel a reservation request?

Cancellations can be made in the dashboard, please ensure you check the cancellations policy with the booking before cancelling as you may still get charged. Please note the service fee when booking is non refundable. If you are eligible for a refund please contact the host directly who can issue you the refund.

When am I charged for a reservation?

Once your booking has been accepted and you have made payment you will be charged straightaway for the booking.

FAQ’s for Hosts

How does the booking Platform work?

Bikers can search accommodation on our large database, Bikers then request to book with the host who can then accept/decline as you wish.  Once accepted Bikers will have 48 hours to make payment and confirm the booking.

How much does it cost to list?

Hosts can list their accommodation on Bikers are Welcome for free, commission is payable on each booking at just 3%, much less than half the industry average. Further details, and details about featured listing costs, are available in the Host Resources section, available after signing up as a host.

How do I know if someone is requesting to book?

You will receive an email with a link letting you know someone has requested to book your accommodation. If you follow the link this will take you to the dashboard where you can accept/decline as you wish. You will receive emails throughout the booking process until the booking is confirmed.

What type of accommodation can I list?

You can list any kind of accommodation suitable, this can be hotel rooms, spare rooms, entire homes, glamping pods, cottages, B&B’s, guesthouse etc. All we ask is that you are biker friendly

When will I receive payment for the booking?

Bikers Are Welcome holds some of the payment for your booking, the remainder is taken as normal from the customer in person, be it credit or debit card, cash or cheque. You can request a withdrawal of your balance at any time from the Wallet screen in your dashboard. How can I manage my bookings?

All bookings can be managed in the dashboard.

How many listings can I make?

You can make as many listings as you like, as long as they are biker friendly. For each room/accommodation you offer you would need to make individual listings.
